Planning and statistics

The planning authority for Lampeter is Ceredigion County Council who deal with all planning applications and develop the Local Development Plan.

Lampeter Town Council does not decide planning applications, but is a statutory consultee; that is we are asked for our view on any applications in the Lampeter area and these can be taken into account when Ceredigion County Council considers the application.

Lampeter Town Council is responsible for the development of a Place Plan for the town. This is led by the local community and is considered alongside The Local Development Plan and national planning policy.
